Casa Italiana in Pirna

We were there years ago and were completely satisfied, but this time the stay was a complete disappointment the cleanliness left to be desired in front of all the toilet.

I booked this pension for one night through the tourist service Pirna. Unfortunately, this pension is quite forgotten. The actual hotel is across the street and if nobody cares then that comes out as a result. The room smelled stale, rather after Schweißfuß and the smell did not go out even after prolonged ventilation. Pirna is such a beautiful city, but if you are looking for somewhere to stay, do not take this pension. The many reviews speak for themselves and actually it should somebody ever tackle that from it further repetitions arise. Herewith a greeting to the TouristService in Pirna. The pension is not recommended, because it just lacks the right hands.

Booked a single room, nice fresh room. Good bed, towels, no soap or shower soap. No elevator. Good breakfast in hotel Romantic around the corner. Price quality ok.

Delicious meal

Were there over the Christmas holidays. Had booked the double room over the guesthouse and were a bit surprised that we got the key in the German house. The gentleman at the front desk showed us our room in which he said they have to go through the door, through the courtyard and then upstairs. When we found it, we were a little surprised about the room. Heating off, strange smell, towels were strangers, sheets had holes, and impersonal. Luckily we were only to sleep in the room. For 30 € per night you can not expect much but it should be clean and in order. Never again!

Had a good experience with the Romantik Hotel and therefore the second visit after recommendation from the Romantik Hotel in the Casa Italiana. When asked what the difference to the Romantik Hotel would be, it was said that it did not have such modern furniture. That's not entirely true .. Who likes to live 20 years back, his stuff (very little storage space with dirty cabinets or too deep, loose wall hooks, with which the towels are back on the floor) on a so old and dirty Auslegeware or instead of a double bed on two pushed together Twin beds with column sleeps, this is just right! In the neighboring country for 20 - 30 Euro / night that is ok. For 90 euros / night that is simply too much! Families with small children is urgently advised against. At the earliest possible date we moved back to the Romantik Hotel. No more in the Casa Italiana. You have to pay attention to the Romantik Hotel, to recommend this pension without a comment. Not every guest makes a difference!

We booked at Casa Italiana, despite the poor rating on Google, but found nothing in Pirna. which was conveniently located. The restaurant was just on vacation, so we can only rate the accommodation. The key we got in the German house, we learned, how we came to our room and the way to the parking lot. The way to the room on the third floor was a bit cumbersome, it is just an old house and a bit winding, besides, the counting of the rooms starts above. The room was big, bright and clean. The beds were good, the wet room was ok. In the room you have to consider the price, you can not expect luxury. We were very satisfied, the ladies who served breakfast in the German house, cleaned later also our room and we are sure that the friendly and competent staff would have liked to meet special wishes and quickly. We felt very comfortable and like to come back.

We wanted to book in the romantic hotel, which referred us to the in-house Casa Italiana. Found room at Casa Italiana after some back and forth. No signs that are urgently required. The room gets 0 stars. Cobwebs in all corners and edges, the carpeting urgently needs to be changed. The shower cubicle must be renovated or replaced. Used uncleaned dusty glass flower vase on the cupboard. Since we were under time pressure, we did not complain immediately and asked for another room, which I would have done immediately. When I left, they reacted calmly to the condition of the room. "I'll tell the housekeeper". No apologies, no regrets etc .. Breakfast was excellent - not a priority for us though.

We were hiking for eight days on the Malerweg. First and last accommodation in Casa Italiana. Of all the hotels on the hike this was the worst. Reception at Hotel Romantika about 60 meters in another street. There we got a key and (both times) a wrong explanation where to find the room. Casa Italiana has front and back house with three staircase. Room not found. Call at the front desk, three times durchklingeln then run over. The breakfast was then again in the hotel Romantika. It was ok, only with coffee they were quite stingy. We can not recommend both.
